Roaring 20s at the Gloucester County Historical Society

Theatrical Fundraiser Features Dinner and a Murder Mystery

The Roaring 20s event packed the house at Elizabeth’s Ballroom in Gloucester City.

Feathers, flappers, boas, and fedoras were the order of the day at the Gloucester County Historical Society‘s winter fundraiser at Elizabeth’s Ballroom in Gloucester City. The sold-out event featured a buffet dinner and an interactive “Death of a Gangster” murder mystery performance by the Murder Mystery Company.

Headquartered in Michigan, the Murder Mystery Company is a large national theater firm that creates immersive theater experiences for dining audiences. It breaks down the walls of standard theater performances in that audience members play an interactive role in the crime solving story being acted out. Staffed by professional actors and directors, the Murder Mystery Co. maintains theater troupes in 30 states and produces over 6,500 shows across the country annually.
